Just messin around on the computer and the forum popped up when I was looking for info on my Model Four. Like gettin info on the Models I have and getting a straight answer. When it comes to questions on autos like the 1100 gotta know what you got pertaining to target and field models.

I just searched for a Remington Forum!! I have a Remington R1S and just bought a Remington 783 in .308. I used a Remington 700 in .308 back in my Sniper days.

Internet search for Remington forums.

While I just have an 870 Express at the moment, I didn't want to go to "just" an 780 forum.

After finding a similar site for Winchester owners (own one of those too), I searched for a similar group where I might find information from Remington owners so here I am.

I did a google search to possibly find out if I could switch an 1100 forearm that has a crack in it with an 1187 forearm that I came across from a friend. This was my father's gun and I want to be sure that I do not damage it. I have used it to hunt geese and ducks but am afraid that the hairline crack will get worse over time.
If I am not creating, I am dying.
