I did a Google search for Remington 700 forums. I just bought my first rifle (Remington 700 ADL .243) and wanted to find info on accessories and upgrades.

Found this site from a Google search of Remington 700. Longtime shooter/hunter and Remington owner and figured this would be the place to get answers to any questions I might have. Thanks for running the web site!

I was looking for information on an R1s that I just got in for a build. A fellow refered me to this site from the 1911 forum. Never been here before.

I googled it. I have a recently purchased R-1 Enhanced that has proven to be a major disappointment. The chamber looks like it was reamed by a cave man with a sharp rock, and jams with everything but ball ammo.

Just bought a 1911 r1 carry commander. Googled to find this forum. I wanted a Remington as I (many years ago) did some of the engineering for the factory in Ilion.

I found it some time ago, sold the Remington I had then and never joined. I now have two Rem 700 in 308 Tac and 223 Varmint. And a Nylon Mohawk 10C I repaired and babysitting for a family relative. Looking for mag conversions led me back here so I registered.

I was looking for information on Pro Bore chokes for my new Versa Max Sportsman. When I ran across this message board for Remington gun owners. Can anyone help me figure out the best choke tube to buy?, I like to shot dove and the Modified choke it came with isn't very good.
