Remington said $389 initially when they showed off the pistol for the first time at Gunsite. Maybe that was their aim for pricing? And not a definite price? Regardless, Remington (and the lead designer of the pistol) said at SHOT Show the MSRP is $420. I imagine the street price to be under $380 when the buzz dies down. And I expect the first batch to command every bit of the $420 MSRP.

Thanks for the reply and that makes sense now. I will probably get in on the first batch when they are released, hopefully soon

I'm staying with the first batch. Hoping there are no major defects. I know Remington will take care of it if there are.

Sorry about that but the guy had me going also.He was replying to a question posted by another guy who asked had anyone seen the pistol yet and this guy jumped right in and said he had just seen one yesterday. when I quizzed him, he started backtracking.

I received the 2014 hard copy of the Crimson Trace catalog yesterday and sure enough there on page 33 was the R51 Laser Guard LG434 and LG434H , H comes with a holster. I already decided that I am going to put a laser on my pre ordered R51, so I got on their WEB site and it was not to be found. I placed a call to CT and was answered by a very knowledgeable Women who explained to me that the WEB site will be updated when the R51 is released and at the dealers. She said a week or two. Which equates to the info I had previously received on the release date. Can only hope that Remington allowed for the anticipated demand and built enough of them Ala Glock 42 which seemingly are every where 2 weeks after release.

I saw where Cabela's added as it to their website (and mentioned the .40). They do not have inventor but they are taking back orders for the 9mm with and without CT laser. No order info for the .40.

EDIT 2/4: I don't see it listed today.

And additional magazines are supposed to be available on day one. Availability will probably depend on the vendor though. I also expect we will see a lot of these magazines on eBay and gunbroker with a large markup.
