Nothing by me in central Iowa. Not sure if the store goes direct or through distributors.

Ugh....

I called a gun shop today and they have them on order and expect them around mid to late march. I'll call a few other places and keep you posted on my search

called my LGS to see if any new R51's have come in and they said no but they just had one traded in and asking $350. How used can an R51 really be at this point when most places haven't even seen one yet, plus that's not bad considering guys are paying $500-$600 for them on gunbroker

Are they actually getting that or is it just what they're asking?

It looks like people are actually bidding them up that high in an auction style. Crazy.
I did see some used ones on broker or armslist too where someone must have hot one, shot a box thru it and decided it wasn't for them and a day later have them for sale !?!
I am waiting for my number to come up at one of two local shops.

Bought a used one at scheels today, basically brand new, for $349. The guy didn't like the way it felt in his hand they said (why buy it in the first place?). The salesman said that scheels hasnt even seen any new R51's yet.

That's what they have sold for, Some ending auctions I have watched have been in that price range.

I live in NE Missouri and I stopped by a local shop on Saturday to ask about the pistol. He said he had several on order but had no idea when to expect any. He couldn't even tell me what price they would be when he did get any. I was given a little cardboard cutout of the R51 he picked up at the SHOT show. He was told it was a life size cutout of the pistol. I laid it next to my sons PF-9 and they are virtually the same size. I will check back in the days ahead to see if any come in. There are probably 30 or so available on GunBroker right now but they are all selling in the $475 - $500 range. I think I will wait a little longer to see if the price comes down closer to MSRP!

FNG from Southwest Virginia here.

I joined the forum because of the R51 I acquired this past weekend. Trader Jerry's in Claypool Hill, VA had two in stock, both priced at $419.99. I picked up the first one as I had it on preorder since January.

So here in SWVA we've got atleast 2 R51's and they'll be selling for MSRP atleast for now.

I am near Quincy, IL. I have been watching for one at GameMasters but nothing yet! Wow! $349 is a terrific price! Have you been able to take it out yet and run some rounds through it? What do you think?

No complaints yet. I'm about half hour or so from Quincy. I called Gamemasters a few times but they had no idea about the R51 or when they would get one. I finally found one in Springfield IL at Scheels, its a 2 hr drive from here but well worth it.

The guys at my LGS said it was definitely the first in the county and probably the first in the state. Though I'm sure greentop or nova dealers surely had dibs.
