Hello all! I just became a 700 owner yesterday and wanted to see what's going on with other Remington owners and found this forum.

A couple weeks ago I decided I wanted a basic 700 in 308 and was deliberating on which sub model to buy, I stopped by my LGS and stumbled upon this 700 20in SPS AAC-SD in 308 and bought it right away. I may have paid too much for it ($1600) but I felt I needed to have it (yes...impulse buy). What I know it has so far:

Timney trigger
TAC21 chassis from MDT
Magpul PRS stock
Harris bipod
Muzzel brake
Tactical grip

As far as glass...I just bought a Nikon M-308 BDC and am waiting anxiously.

Nice. Very HK PSG-1 esque! Always got a bit of 'rigidity' in the gentleman parts about that rascal! When you get her on the range tell us how she shoots.

This pic shows the barrel duracoated matte black(not by me) and the scope rings were to high. I've replaced them since the pic was taken.
My gunsmith has it now. I'm having her bedded and redoing the duracoat with ''Tactical OD''
I'll post updated pic when I get her back.
