I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY GUNSMITH COULD YOU POSSIBLY GIVE ME THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE ONE WHO DRILLED AND TAPPED YOUR SO HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO GIVE MY LOCAL GUNSMITH SOME ADVISE?

I'm looking to have a scope mounted onto my Remington 887 gun for deer hunting with the rifled barrel, I found a gunsmith that will drill and tap the gun but what part do I need to order. I see that the tactical model comes with a picatinny rail, would this work?

I just got one of the bore sightseers that are a laser in an aluminum shot shell, it works really well for my 887 tactical and reflex sight. I got it from amazon for under $20.00.

Hello,
I just bought the 887 Tactical. I really love it , however I have searched Youtube and the internet to no avail on any after market accessories. From the last post its been over two years since this question was asked. What after market accessories or side saddles are there for this shotgun? Its almost like Remington doesn't want you to customize there gun. Any help would be great! |

None. You need to make everything yourself. Side saddle requires modifying the forward stock, another buttstock requires some drilling. |

Since swissblanco didnt come out with hes side saddle yet i decided to make my own the same way, works well. Will put some pics up soon.
Also drilled and tapped the reciever myself, no problem there! |

Does anybody know anything about a magazine extension for the M887 nitro mag? I saw one on YouTube and the guy had a 10+ 1 capacity with a nice matching camo extension.

You can buy a barrel with at least better fibre optic sights.. I can find just the sights though. Also for storage of shells I just ordered a side saddle for an 870 and I intend on modifying it slightly and then mounting it to the side of the butt stock. The thing with mounting it further forward like on the 870 is because of how far back the fore grip goes. Also I've been looking for it and have been completely unsuccessful but I saw a guy on YouTube with a magazine extension that gave him 10+1 mag tube capacity ( that is on the longer barrelled waterfowl version which is what I have). Also his tube extension was coated with the same composite coating and camo. Love my m887... But I wish it was 10 years older so there would be more common upgrades for it.

has any one went about putting a Magpul stock on their 887? looking into putting one on mine, i think it handles better than the original stock. and found someone who will drill tap my recevier.
