I have been thinking about selling my super slug 12g for a new Ithaca Deerslayer III in 20g. The Remmy is a great shooter and can clover leaf @50 and just over MOA @100 with Accu Tips. But i am a GUN WHORE and always wanting a change. Any oppinions on the Deerslayer III? I have looked at the web sight and watched the vids but was looking for more input. Example actual weight without scope and base, and best 100 yrd groups. Is it worth the money?

In my opinion you really can't go wrong with an Ithaca Deerslayer; check out http://www.ithacaowners.com/viewforum.php?f=19 for more information. I have a Deerslayer myself but its unfired.

Went to my local Ithaca dealer today to buy the deerslayer III in 20g. They had sold the last one on saturday. They were on sale for $1000 it was a one time special. Now if i want to order one they would but the price is $1495. That sucks a$$.

I kept the SuperSlug for another season. Shot a nice buck @ 45yrds with accutips. Guess it worked out in the end.
