ive called 4 times there cs says send gun in for the trigger take up screw as the cant find part number seems to me if they asked there armorer for 1 he would know but cant get anywhere

Why wouldn't they just send the whole trigger assembly? This is strange.

I searched online to try and find the part number or atleast size and thread count on the set screw no luck. Hope you get it worked out soon.

I have tried and tried to find out what screw this uses. Best I can get is a 4-40.
This will need a .050 Allen wrench I think.
Have you ever removed a 1911 trigger? It's really fairly simple. If you could remove it take it down to foxes you might get lucky and find one to fit.

Also I have found that different trigger manufactures use different screw sizes so be careful and don't force any. Good luck...
