Here's my method most of the time. Under the zipper-front uniform shirt. Can be instantly removed from the vest via the velcro attachment if I need to (such as transitioning to a polo shirt Class B look).

I have tried ankle carry of a J-frame but don't really feel comfortable with a firearm being out there during a scuffle. But it's really quick when seated and belted in the patrol car.

I'd love to read about your methods of carry!

That's a nice setup...especially with a zippered shirt. I'm not big on ankle holsters either...

Since I don't wear a uniform daily, where my backup resides differs with my choice of clothes as well as the weather...ie, if I'm wearing a vest, jacket, or pullover. My main firearm is always strong side kidney (4 o'clock position).

I have put my backup ( KT PF-9 ) inside my boot top ( inner left leg ) when riding in the car for long drives as it very easy to get to when seated, being right handed.

BTW...like the little Buck on the vest !

Nitesite, Good set setup. I use a inside the waist band or thumb break Don Hume off duty. S&W 3913, Glock 23 or 1911 Colt Commander. On duty a Chief Spl. or PPKS.

All top-quality gear you use, with good reason! Excellent choices.
