That is one sweet setup you have with your Remington model 700! Have you had the pleasure of shooting it yet?

Like the Pod mount, looks like it actually belongs there.

Saturday is the day when I first get her on the range.

The versapod mount is a spigot from tanaka its much cheaper than the original pakerhale adapter, and also made of steel.

It's nice to have a support group like REMINGTON OWNERS for people with this addiction. The rifle looks wicked nasty. I loved the heat reflector on the barrel. Nice job!!!
If you can't sell it don't buy it

Great looking rifle. Do you happen to know the weight of it? I'm sure being a 700 police it has to be a bit on the heavy side.

Oh yes its really on the heavy side. Right now its 9:30 PM here and I'm laying with a cold in bed. Tomorrow morning I will have a look how much kilograms or lbs it has.

@DoubleTap,
i stepped on scale this morning. 6,9 kilograms that are 15.2 pound .
That's quite heavier than I expected.

Today out on the range, we had bad weather and today only 100m, but that's okay for to zero my new toy.

First i had to zero her, and then i shot from the bipod or from the rangebag groups which were all together and only the "10"

I have to test the different ammo, today i used 150 grain FMJ surplus ammo, but i will test the 168grain.

I heard that 12"gauge barrels work better with 168grain than with the 147 or 150grain.

Awesome! I like all the pics, they look great! I am recently fascinated with the 700 .308 and may get one in the future!

What is the back pack? I like that too!

its like the "Enhanced Medium MOLLE Assault Pack from Voodoo Tactical", only a little bit smaller and much cheaper (35USDollars), but also very good quality. The company who produces this Rucksack is called mil-tec

Perhabs at amazon in the states they also have it ?

damn, i thought i got my BT08QK accushot monopod today, but they sent me the wrong one...the BT08.

I ordered the one with the Quick knob, but got the older model without quick knob. But they told me they will send out the right one for me today.

But i will keep the other one until the new one reaches me. Because i read on the facebook site of B&T industries, that Accushot got a big contract, and don´t deliver the civilian market anymore, until who knows....

Sounds not good for me....

Peter,

That is one bad ass rifle. Any of us would be proud to own one similar. And the K91,s are they refinished or just very well taken care of?

AI is really an amazing company, don't you think?
An ATI stock set on a 1955 16-ga Wingmaster would make Baby Jesus cry...........

Hallo nitesite,
sorry for answering so late.
The dark K31 the walnut stock is just very well taken care of,

the other the beech one is also well taken care of,
but i refinished the stock a little bit, all under instruction from LoLo from Alabama from the swiss-rifles forum.

And i got my Accushot monopod, finally.

Image

but you need an U.S. 3/16 hex to tighten it from the rear, so i had to buy a set of U.S. tools.

Yes this AI stuff is really great, but also the Remington 700, because you can do so much with her. And there are so much spare parts and stuff arround, thats amazing.

Greetings Peter
