What caliber is your Remington 750 and how does it shoot
|
|
mine is a 30-06 and it shoots great, and at all ranges! It helped me harvest deer at 25, 55 and 120 yards this year, with pinpoint accuracy.

It sounds like a great gun.

![]() I have a 750 Woodsmaster rifle bought new in 308 Winchester Caliber, wood stock and it is a great rifle. I have retired my Savage 99F lever action rotary magazine rifle in 308 Winchester Caliber, and my Winchester pre 64 model 70 rifle in 308 caliber to the gun safe. After using the 750 I retired my other two rifles. It works great 5 shots as quick as you can pull the trigger. Fred |

I have a 750 carbine in 35 whelen and love this gun. I used it deer & bear hunting in the mtns. of NC this year. I handloaded 200gr. Nosler ABs and 180gr. Barnes TTSXs for it and they perform great. This gun does not like light loads but it is a tack driver with both loads.

Here is my 750 Carbine, 30-06. I swapped out the synthetic stock/fore-end with 7400 parts. |

I have a 7400 in 30-06, that I bought about a year ago. It had been shot less than 20 times and I got the leftovers of that box. It looked like new and was in great condition. Only problem was a screw binding the bolt from the scope mount.

I just bought a Remington 742 Woodsmaster in 30-06 with a 4X Bushnell scope and I was wondering what kind of accuracy I can expect from it at 100yds. I also plan to reload for this gun. Anything I should know as to what level loads I should use and will it require the small base resizing dies to prevent hangups in chambering during semi auto firing?
Thanks for any info you can provide. |
