Which are the measures of the several standard model (i.e. stright comb, pistol grip) stocks above? Are the height and drop the same as the standard 11-87 stock, or are there other measures? (I am looking for a aftermarket stock with a 1/2-3/4 inch higher comb to my 12 ga Premier. Wood or synthetic doesn't matter.)

Are there any kits/adapters/mods out there to retrofit an 870 stock to an 1100/11-87? I just picked up my first 11-87 but have an 870 stock I'd like to try on it...

(Edit: its a Super Magnum if it makes any difference)

West has several variations of this. The one shown is the one used on the Remington 1100 Competition Synthetic. It gets rave reviews across the board.
What could have happened... did.
