So id like to upgrade the trigger guard to a metal one, i know that theres a couple marlin metal trigger guards that would fit but havent seen anyone actually use them so just wondering if anyone here has any mods to the guard ? Also anyone know what sites have parts for the 783 ?

I did not know There was a Marlin trigger guard that would work for this but I'm very interested to know what you find out. Please reply if you get it figured out. I was going to build 1 out of metal but I've been sidetracked on other projects. Thanks
