I ordered it from GrabAGun on 5/20 at 2:30 in afternoon they shipped same day at 5:00 pm, they had it on sale for $315 plus $5.99 shipping.
My local gun store got it at 2:00 pm 5/23, I picked it up and went to range cleaned it and then shot 50 rounds of Remington 95 grain round nose and then 50 rounds of Remington HTP 88 grain hollow points.
I had no failures, I shot a Ruger LCP and a S/W bodyguard before I decided on the RM380, I'm very surprised how much less recoil the RM380 especially with the bodyguard (it hurt my hands) but after 100 rounds my hands felt fine.
I will recommend this gun to anyone, I'm very happy with my purchase

Excellent deal on an excellent gun. Congrats. Reliability has been flawless on mine as well. Still trying to get used to the trigger. I'll get there.

Good deal there, I really enjoy mine (really my Wife's concealed carry gun). I don't remember any hangups with mine. The trigger is a little different, the pull is still long but seems to have lightened up a good bit or maybe I'm getting used to it.

Glad to hear positive comments. Main gripe seems to be with that take-down pin. For the money I would grab one if ever made compliant in my manure state. Yep they got to be torture tested before they can be legal for sale. Great pocket carry piece and something with metal.

Just curious how your barrel looks? Mine had some pretty poor rifling and will be on its way back to Remington Tuesday or Wednesday.

Sorry I just saw your question, I just now looked, mine looks smooth, a little copper fowling in groves, to me looks just fine as I would expect it to after 100 rounds.

Jd10ac, I looked at your picture and my barrel looks nothing like that, I would be concerned about it also, please keep us informed as to what Remington does.

It took me a while till I figured out you can squeeze until you feel a little more resistance from there just a little more pressure and trigger breaks, I got to where I could go to that point an hold a bit to get on target, after that my groups got much tighter.

Mgaines, thanks for the reply. I'm glad to hear that yours doesn't have any issues with the barrel. I'm pretty sure remingtion will get mine fixed and back to me soon. Galloway Precision has a trigger kit for the rm-380 that really seems to help with the trigger pull. I put one in mine and it made it much easier for the wife to pull. I'm hoping to be able to get to shoot mine as soon as I get it back to see how the recoil is on it. I never even got to shoot it before it went back
