Had previously purchased a Diamondback DB380 (bad mistake, had several issues. FTF, FTE, Failure to fire you name it and I had it.) Saturday was back in my LGS and they had just received a RM380. Traded the pos DB380 for the RM380. Have fired 100 rounds of mixed ammo so far with only 1 light primer strike about round 20. Second strike feature took care of that. Think that this little pocket pistol is a keeper. Good job Remington.

Glad you came to your senses and got rid of that Diamond Back...
The RM380 is a great pistol for the $$...and if I were you I would keep track of what ammo prints well and which one(s) have hard primers. Always good to know what ammo is reliable and what ammo hits POA/POI... |

The light primer strike was on a S&B primer which are known for the occasional hard primer. Little gun is more accurate than I am. The more I shoot it the better the trigger pull seems to get or maybe I am just getting more familiar with the trigger.

Really? I've put 1,000 rounds of S&B through mine with nary a hiccup. Probably the cleanest ammo made, IMHO. |
