A few years back I inherited my brother's 552 Speedmaster. He had removed the sights when he scoped it and they are long lost. I would like to put irons back on but finding originals is difficult. Numrich Arms has them, a Lyman dovetail for the front and a reproduction leaf-and-ramp for the rear. The also have the new style (BDL?) rear available. Does anyone know if that would work as well or should I stick with the original leaf style?

I have four late 1950's and early 1960's 552's and occasionally am in need of parts. I have had success finding original parts on ebay and gunbroker.com. I can't recall ever having an issue with parts I purchase from either of these sources.
