I was just looking at "HiViz" front sites for my 870 Express and came across a term I was not familiar with. Remington ETA (not est. time of arrival either) what does it mean?

- Also, are magnetic sites strong enough to stay on while walking through brush when *grouse hunting or should have the front bead removed and have a screw in HiViz site installed by a G-smith?

- Opinions on best made optical site brands of this type, who's the best for my *aforementioned use?

- Additionally, is an optical site better for use while Grouse hunting?

Bought a couple of different Hi-Viz magnetic light tube models that attach to the vent rib of my Winchester. Have not come off during shooting of Upland game using field loads and even stayed put when firing buckshot loads. I recommend buying a Hi-Viz sight with a smaller diameter tube as the larger ones cover the whole animal and do not give as good a sight picture. If you don't have a vent rib on your gun I have seen models at Bass Pro that slip over barrel. Not sure about the ETA question. Hope this helps.

Yes that is helpful, I'm in northern MN and the brush and small trees are here are very dense. Just worried about it catching on branches and coming off. I do have a vented rib on my Rem. 20 GA express. The tip on smaller diameter tube is a good one as another thread I read said this type of site raises siting higher than the OE bead throwing off your shot. I've already sen lots of grouse out there just before the season opened and can't wait to get out there.

Anyone else on the ETA Q?
