Just took the plunge into the Shotgun world with Max....Versa Max Tactical that is...
I had been wanting a H/D s/g for years & would have been happy with an 870 in Atacs Camo....
(wife thought 12 ga would hurt my bad shoulder & back)......anyway.....i had never considered autoloaders till i saw a youtube clip of Janna Reeves with the Versa Max Competition.....I was amazed how fast she shot & how little recoil there was. I was hooked & took a strong look at the competition tactical, but i am not into 3 gun so i thought the V/M Tactical would fill all my needs....long story short, the wife could tell how happy i would be on my birthday with the tactical ....so I am estatic to now have it.....that being said, I have since learned the Competition Tactical does have a better oversized loading port & gate to avoid thumb bite.....& it will take the 3.5" shells.....(officially)....I have broken it down & cleaned it but have yet to get it to the range & try it out.....any tips, suggestions are most welcomed & appreciated.....
