Brand new M700 Long range 300 WM, when I eject case out there is a slight scratch on case. Is this a indication of crappy workmanship?? Poor chamber polishing? Anything to worry about? Ironic thing is, just got a brand new Replacement from Remington after 4 months, my original M 700 long range 300 WM with M40 Bell and Carlson tactical stock, was sent out of the factory with a bad extractor, bolt would not close on a factory round of several brands ie Remington and HSM! THEN TO Top it off, when I ejected the cartridge out of the chamber, there was a massive scratch nearly the full length of shell. Looking with a light I could see a big burr at the 6 o'clock position in the chamber. Now the replacement gun, bolt closes nicely on cartridge, but like I said a slight scratch on cartridge. Thanks for any help or ideas.
