Hey guys, Im looking for the top half of the rear site for my 870 Special Purpose Turkey.
I have the elevation piece but need the horizontal piece. The piece I need has a small dove tail type bottom and a curve to it where the screw goes.

I'll buy it or trade for it. I don't like using credit card's so ordering it is out, I ordered a set of Tru-Glo's from my local gun shop and still got the wrong one's LOL.

Thanks for any help!

Call Remington, get a cost, and mail them a check.
What could have happened... did.

Well I called Remington(number listed in above thread)
I was suprised to hear they are on back order(a month out) and that they wanted $76 for the full assembly....WOW!
I was also suprised to hear her say, "You should look at Tru-Glo, they will have the sites you need"
She gave me a part number for the Tru-Glo item itself.
WOW!! Is all I can say.
Im not bi_chin by any means, just alittle sticker shocked!!
Thanks for the info and number SHOOTER13

Crappiepro I also have the 870 Special Purpose turkey gun and was looking to replace the top portion of the rear sight. This is made of clear plastic and fits into a metal piece which is a dove tail that slides over a base piece which is welded or braised to the barrel. My fiber optic pin had fallen out. I went the route of calling Tru-Glo and after sending them a picture of the sight was told they no longer make that sight. However they sell a two piece replacement, which I ordered. It's made entirely of plastic and it was not possible to tighten it enough to secure it. In fact it fell off while I was hunting. I wonder if the piece Remington was describing was actually for all three parts of the sight?
