I have a sportsman 12 auto that needs a barrel. I talked to someone at remington that told me a 1100 barrel wont work on this gun. Yet on the internet forums.I read several people use a 1100 barrel on thEM i've got a 1964 model 1100. that goes right on it. never shot it with the 1100 barrel on it but working the bolt by hand it works fine. i've read the auto 12 is a cheaper made 1100. that was made a couple years.Does anyone know anything about it. or have a 1100 barrel on one?THANKS!
