700 SPS T
Factory 700 trigger to replace X Mark
CDI DBM kit
Muzzle threaded for can, currently using SEI Vortex for thread protector
BO bolt knob
BO single piece base with lug
BO Maximized med rings
SWFA SS 3-9x42 HD FFP
SWFA cattail
HS LTR stock
Bobro Gen II pod
M1907 sling

Pretty much OEM, Lupi on there to try it out.

Horrendous original stock, now has SWFA glass on it.

Work done by the smith.

Had to open up the feed ramp to allow for reliable feeding of longer OAL rounds.

OEM bottom metal in stock that has been inletted for CDI DBM. LTR inletting is smooth.

Second, I was already leaning towards replacing it because they have been known to start out fine and over time and use degrade to the point that they won't stay adjusted. I was going to put a regular 700 trigger that had been worked over in it, but the thing breaking just sped it up.

Forgot to put this one in. This is what I usually run it with right now, although I have taken the stock pouch off. I've started using a Maxped Neatfreak as a bolt gun bag to carry stuff that I would use with bolt guns, so I don't need the stock pack. The Neatfreak carries all the notes, MilDot Master, laser boresighter, tools and PMCS stuff that I had in the pouch plus a few other items and two extra mags.

Yessir,

They're way more accurate and consistent than I've managed to be so far. I've still got a long way to go and a lot to work on, but I managed a .35 MOA three shot group outta my last range trip with my .308 AAC-SD at 100yds. The rest were in the .5 range. I'm get'n there though...

Another detail shot I didn't put in. I knew I had a pic of the SWFA cattail but I couldn't find it. Here they are.

Magnification at 9x.

Magnification at 3x.

This was the best orientation I found to place the tail in. It makes moving through the magnification range much, much easier. Without this, it can be frustrating moving the mag ring, especially in the cold.

Pretty much. The BO stuff is very well made, and the problems come from the Remington QC. The receivers are known to be off a little, but they are a mass production rifle.
I had a very, very, very small gap in the rear of the base contact area. Like I had to get a Surefire light on one side to even see a little light passing under the base. You couldn't see it otherwise, and you really couldn't feel it. So I bedded the rear of the base and there is no gap now.
