Bolt hang up

The bolt will hang up and not open if a empty mag is in the mag well. The bottom lug will catch the follower or mag body and not open. You can only pull it back a 1/2' at the most. You have to remove the mag to open the bolt all the way to the rear. Is this normal?

It does not sound normal to me. I'd have a smith look at it, or send it back to maker with very detailed issues.
Just outta nosiness, do ya have the correct mag for the gun? Sent from my LG-VS700 using Tapatalk 2 I would rather die on my feet, than live on my knees...

It is the mag that came with the rifle. Magazine works and feeds ok with rounds loaded in. Only gets hung up on an empty mag. I don't want to force it past as it is plastic.

new, never a shot thru it yet. I did cycle some rounds thru it. It feeds ok just the hang up on the empty mag issue.
