I was recently given a Remington 12 Ga Autoloader with S/N 133318 and I am trying to find out more info on the shotgun. What can you tell me?

Could be an 11, 1148, sprtsmn 48 or 58, 1100 1187, 1196 or another one I don't know of.

The will likely be a model number on the left side of the receiver.

Good luck!

There is no model number anywhere on the shotgun, but thank you for your input.

Can you post a few pictures? It might help in indentifying your gun

Photos are mandatory, as it is near impossible to provide any information without seeing a gun.

Remington used a barrel code for dating purposes. Serial numbers are all but useless without a crystal ball.
