Hello Remington Owners,
I'm recently retired, so now I have time to sign into forums. Remington is my favorite gun company. My paternal Grandfather (and Grandmother) had five sons and a daughter, and one of them was my Dad, who loved Remingtons. All my uncles shot Remington. Times change, but don't talk Remington politics to me. I'm not a fan of NY, but Rem. can work there for all I care, as long as big biz brings QC back up to compete with high quality foreign gun makers. I'm a registered Independent, totally in favor of 2nd Amendment rights. Forums are a great way to learn from people with the same interest, who have more experience and knowledge than I do.
We used to hunt the heck out of Oregon (native), Elk, deer, China Pheasants and ducks mostly. But I also like to snow ski and now have bad knees. Get a kick out of taking the kids (third gen.) and their friends out shooting (plinking and range). Good responsibility for them and they have a lot of fun. Lasers and illuminated scopes they like, after the open sighted .22s and 30 Carbine.
