Do we have a stickie/link to a good info site on our barrel sizes etc.

I want to put stocks on both my Rem 700 .308s, but one is the Varmint Barrel and the other I guess is just the "regular" Barrel... is this how its catagorized? "regular"?

I think the regular weight barrel would be called a "sporter" weight. but I'm sure there are others besides the varmint and sporter. My friend has a M700 titanium and it has a skinny "pencil" barrel on it, the M700 Mountain rifles might have that lighter weight barrel as well.
