Just picked up my new 700P in 223. Came with the 40x trigger. Easily dropped trigger pull down to 1.5 lbs with a couple turns counter clockwise on the adjustment screw. Did not have to take trigger out. Aded a 0 moa Weaver extended multi slot picatinny base with Weaver 6 hole tactical picatinny rings. Med ium was a little too close with bolt clearance so I switched to high. Used Leupold magnetic bore sighter and mounted my Weaver 6-24x42 scope. Got some 55 gr, 60 gr and 68 gr 223 to take to the range this week. 26 inch barrel, 1:9 twist. Hope it does well at the range. Will zero at 100 yards but I have another 20 moa base I may tryout for some longer distances. 300 yards would be my max. So...Any input or questions?

Only input is, shoot the hell out of it and enjoy!
