Hello fellow Remington 887 owners,

i have recently purchased the Remington 887 i have shot roughly 25 shells through it. on issue i am having that is had for me to trouble shoot & figure out why... is that i can shoot the first round just fine, i pump out the shell, the second rounds comes in.. after that one fires i pump it out, but 9/10 times i find that the third shell will dot properly engage with the small pin to bring the shell from the tube into the chamber.

my first thoughts are maybe the spring is wore out?? but when i physically push on the small pin to release the shell into the chamber its coming more clear that it could be that part..

am i thinking of this correctly?? and to clarify i am not talking about the "extractor pin" its extracting the shot shells fine. its just getting shells back into the chamber.

any suggestions???

This issue is caused by that pin being in the wrong place, you have to bend it a bit outwards. See here: topic32-20.html
