:?: I know the early 700's had fleur de lis checkering but I ran across a lefty today with that pattern. According to the remington web site they started making lefties in 1973 so the question is, when did they stop using the fleur de lis pattern? I have to believe it wasn't long after '73 if what I'm looking at is correct. Anyone have a clue when they changed?
Thanks

I talked to a gun nut friend that said he bought a new 700 in 1975 that came with fleur de lis but felt that '75 was close to the end. Any other thoughts?
