I just mounted some scope bases,rings, and my scope last night; the scope rings I ordered are the accushot medium profile. I really don't like them. Scope doesn't seem to sit as firmly on my 700 with a set of Warne rings. I was trying to keep price down with my 783 does anyone have any experience with the accushot, and should I set them to side and go with a more expensive set? I do know you get what you pay for, but the reviews I read for accushot are really good.

Sounds like you answered your own question...I myself would take the Accushot Rings back and get a set I was happy with...Warne !?

It looks like I'm going look for the same ones I have on my 700... They won't take back the accushot but ill just donate them to the boy scouts or young shooters club. Thanks for the reassurance sometimes we just need another voice. Not a lot of people around me look that in depth when it comes to specifics that's why I came here.

New scope with the Warne scope rings and I couldn't be happier. I took it out today and very pleased with the results.
