Been poking around this site for a week or so now and figured I'd sign up. Picking up my new 870 express tactical in a few weeks so I've been reading up on all the add-ons and tips about this gun. Decided to go with this gun bc I mainly wanted a home defense weapon to accompany my Glock 27. I like the fact that these guns can be customized very easy, same reason I like Glocks. Planning on adding a side saddle and getting a few different choke tubes to test patterns. A longer barrel will be a sure thing down the road for skeet/trap days on my buddy's farm. As a local LEO, we use the 870 police so I am familiar with how these function and feel, one reason I chose to stick with remington. Looking forward to putting many rounds through this gun! Will get back after I pick it up and first range trip!

Thanks! Looking forward to breaking it in once I pick it up. Been nice the last couple weekends so finally got some range time with my G27. My buddy just picked up a Benelli Supernova a few weeks ago, so I've been helping him break it in shooting clays. Very fun stuff
