Good morning everyone,

I've joined this forum as if yesterday primarily due to my ownership if an R51. I'm hoping to provide my experience and feedback in dealing with this new pistol and it's function/facet of use. Feel free to read my initial review over in the R51 section

That said Remington has always been a personal and family favorite. My first gun was an 870 youth pump in 20ga I was given as a small boy. I still have the old girl and she's in impeccable shape and gets shot often. It's hard not to hold on to and continue enjoying a proven killer on many hunts.

I also have a Bushmaster Carbon-15 (though she's from a sister company) that has served me well and is easily one if my favorite firearms. Despite the negative reviews the C-15 has proven just as reliable and well made as my 870.

A little about me - I'm a 22 y/o college senior studying pre-medicinal biology at a small private college here in SWVA. I hope to next year attend medical school and eventually become a trauma surgeon. I'm currently employed as a teller supervisor at a regional bank in Mercer Count, WV. Hunting has always been a key element in my raising and life. Deer, turkey, varmint are my game of choice. I also shoot trap and skeet at a great little gun club here Triangle Sportsman's Club.

I'm a 2a advocate, conceal carry advocate, and an 03 FFL collector with a focus on Finnish Mosin Nagants. I'm looking forward to sharing and gaining knowledge on our beloved remmys here with you guys.

Welcome from MI!!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.-Ronald Reagan
