Anybody else loading 3/4 oz for trap? Decided to try it for cost and recoil reasons. I'm using STS hulls, 700X, CB1275 wads and #8 Magnum. Started at 13.4 gr 700X but would not cycle. Only next size bushing I have for the Mec throws 16.4 gr and that runs it fine. Got a 25,26,27&28 on order today to see how low I can go and still run the gun. Had to order another 3/4 bar so I can give the wife back hers for her 20ga. 870.
Anyone else doing this I'd appreciate hearing from you.

I have in the past, but just felt better and saw better breaks with 7/8 oz.

I used 700x, with the claybuster 3/4 wad, win primers, in sts shells. I settled on the 7/8 oz loads at 1200 for my SxSs and pumps and 1148s, and they work well from the 3200 as well.
