I recently purchased a Youth Model Model 7MM-08 with black synthetic stock. The trigger adjustment screw protrudes out so far from the trigger itself that it is catching my finger during firing. Has anyone heard of this issue? The poundage is set correctly on the trigger, and I don't buff the screw down for fear of losing the ability to adjust trigger pull. Why would remington allow these adjustment screws to protrude out so far? Is there a kit made to correct this? I am a shooter of smaller stature so I buy youth models on most my guns for better fit. I would drop in a jewel trigger kit but I already have a considerable amount invested in this gun.
