I would like to see Remington bring back the 11-87 Premier in 12 and 20 Gauge.
This was a beautiful shotgun with the engraving and the fancy walnut stock.
The new 11-87s that they have out there now looks to me like someone took and new Lincoln Town Car and redid it to look like a small compact car.
They took all the bells and whistles off the 11-87 when they stopped making the Premier.
The new Sportsman looks like they really cheapened up on it from the 11-87 Premier.
There are still plenty of people out there that like a fancy, good looking shotgun, also a great working shotgun like the 11-87 Premier.
Any Comments,
Fred

I couldn't agree more! I think it would be great to have an 11-87 Premier available as an option again. I just picked up a 11-87 sporting synthetic but its a certainly lacking aesthetically!

I agree. I was not really looking for a new shotgun when I saw my 11-87 Premier LC in the display case at Walmart one night calling to me with a very tempting price tag on it. I had to take it home that night.

The Premier without engraving isn't bad either. ;)

I just purchased a Premier Trap 11 87, I am used to the 11 87 special purpose. What should I expect from the Premier Trap?

While there are several 1148s and 870s in the vault, the 1187 and 1100 are two Remingtons that don't balance well for me, and I can't hit the floor with them, if I dropped one. Tried to no avail!
