Hey, new here. Wanted to stop in and say Hello. I'm not super familiar with any particular brand of firearm, just the specific ones I've dealt with in the past. I've been hunting white tail deer in midwest Minnesota for years. Grew up on the Remingtion 870 and still use one today. I'm getting into my first rifle very soon. Buying my brother's Remington 740 - autoloading 30.06. That's what's spurred me to join a forum, hope this was the right place to go. I love forums, I've been apart of them for years on the automotive side. They can be a great tool in your box if properly utilized.

First newb question, what section should I go to for advice on the 7400 that I'm about to purchase? Didn't see a section for it when I looked through the menu.

Thanks!

Welcome from MI!!

Good question on the 7400, we may have to ask the admins to add a section for it. I'm not to familiar with the Remington rifle line so I cannot say offhand which section would be most useful at the moment.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I hope someone who is familiar with the 7400 can chime in soon. I plan on wasting no time in working on it and making it my own. Trouble is, I'm having a hard time finding pieces. Curious to know if other models are interchangeable or if I'm just looking in the wrong places.
