Are the Remington mags themselfs the best to use?
They seem to work find, but I was going to buy additional ones.

Just purchased a new 1911 R1S.
Which mags do you find work best? Are the Remington mags themselfs the best to use? They seem to work find, but I was going to buy additional ones. Thanks. Gary

I have the two 7 round mags that came wit it, but wanted a 8 round magazine so I purchased a Wilson Combat magazine on 8 round. No problems at all.

 I stayed with Remington mags and there is no looking back.Purchased additional Factory Remington Mags and I believe they are top notch. My opinion is to stick with Remington. No malfuctions period. Job well done Remington. Gary From my Cold Dead Hands!

It's great that you are having excellent reliability with the Remington magazines.
Personally, I believe that seven-round magazines with flat followers and a dimple are really hard to beat. Hope you are having a great time with your R1.

I always stick with what the factory issues when it comes to magazines...so far, so good !!
