I recently an 1100 that won't cycle. On disassembly I discovered that the gas seal is missing. This is part #12 on the schematics page. Is this a rubber o-ring? . If so, would an o-ring from the hardware store work? If not, midway or brownell's ? Thanks

We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing!

After checking online with firearm related websites for availability and pricing I ordered a "50" count pk from Graingers for $12.00 + tax.

That is a lifetime supply for the whole state:)
I have yet to replace any of mine as they just don't wear out. Typically it is misplaced, lost or damaged when removing the barrel for cleaning.
I keep some with me at all times to give away at the range because of this reason:)
