Hello all,
I was invited to come on here and post some pics from the facebook admin, so thought I'd drop by. I've been shooting since I was 6. I received my first Remington, 7mm Ultra mag 700 series, a few years ago. Recently I got the 1911R1. Those are my only Remingtons, but I also have a Winchester m94 30-30, a few Ithaca shotguns, a Chinese SKS carbine, a few Kar 98s, a 7mm Mauser, a marlin .22, a Ruger Blackhawk .44 mag, and a Sig Saur 38H .32.

I love the R1. I haven't had the opportunity to put many rounds through it, but of the 100 I did fire I didn't have a single jam, misfire, or mishap. It's incredibly accurate. My only complaint is the factory doesn't do a good job at all cleaning the guns. I got mine with grease and crap coating the inside of the barrel. Nothing some solvent and a brush can't handle though :)

Welcome aboard!

Please take your time looking throught the site and let us know if you have any questions. Be sure to check out all the various sub-forums and post up some pics of your firearms. Our site is very new, so please bear with us as we continue to grow. We certainly look forward to your contribution.

I find that it can be hit or miss with my firearms arriving from the factory caked in oil. Most of my polymet autos show up relatively clean, but my 1911s have been a different story. I usually welcome a heavily oiled gun though. At least I know that it should be in great shape.......until I get my hands on it...

Enjoy the site!
