New guy here. Wanted to share a few pics of my 700 SPS Tactical 20" barrel in .308.
I've added a few things since I bought it and still in the works of doing things to it. I shucked the Hogue stock and got a B&C tactical style 3 with the bottom hook cut out. The stock fits and feels good. It's not a McMillan or Manners but it's a great hunting stock.
I installed a Karsten adjustable cheek piece and it's hidden under the stock pack. Recently added a Timney trigger 1.5 - 4 lb. BTW, excellent trigger for hunting. Scope is a Millett TRS-1 IR and it sits on a EGW 20 MOA base. The sling is from Tactical Intervention with Talon swivels. Harris BR bipod.
The paint job is mine with sand and OD green from the rattle can.
I purchased new bottom metal from PTG for a DBM and a AICS five round magazine and need to have the stock in-letted for it. Still looking for someone to do the work.
Just sent the bolt off today to SPR (Superior Precision Rifles) in Florida for a tactical style knob.
This gun right out of the box is shooting .400 MOA at 100 yards and .600 MOA at 200 yards since I installed the 20 MOA base, but haven't had the chance to get it out beyond that.
It really likes the 168 gr. Federal GMM. For hunting I'm shooting 168 gr. Barnes Tipped TSX. I have taken a few antelope with it out to 500 yards and one elk at 50 yds.

That is a great looking rifle. I still have some work to do on my .308.
