Just want to say Hi, I just got a Model 74 in 30-06 used it this year to shoot 6 pointer, great first season with it! I just want to find out more about the gun and some reloading tips.
I am in SW VA and retired from the US Army, Glad to be here.

Just checked it our...very nice.
How do you butcher it...in other words, do you make steaks, ground it up, make jerky ? |

I had this one, the back straps cut into steaks and the rest made into burger. I had a few roasts that where given to me by friends, so I'll give them some of the burger.
