Hello, glad I found this site. Haven't owned any Remingtons until this year. For the past 10 years, all I've owned was a cheap Savage .22 rifle, J Stevens Favorite 17, Hamilton model 15 and a Glock 22.

I'm 37 and back when I was 10, my Uncle taught me how to shoot with his Remington .22 rifle. That was the only time I got to shoot guns.

My Uncle passed away in 2006. Haven't been shooting with him in probably 18-20 years. Just this Summer, I started thinking about that old .22 rifle. Asked my Aunt if she knew what happened to all of his guns. She said she still had them. Told her I was interested in buying that old .22. I ended up getting it for my B-day. Its a SG Nylon 66, just turned 50 years old in October. Still shoots like it did 20 some years ago.

Also, I've never owned a shotgun before. I wanted to get into shooting clays and eventually get into hunting. I've been researching shotguns for the past month. Just bought a used 870 Wingmaster.

That must have felt great to shoot that .22 again! Nice choice with picking up a Remington 870 wingmaster.

Thanks. What are some unique or interesting remingtons out there? Anything to look for? I like older long guns more than newer ones.

Thanks. Shot my 870 WM yesterday for the first time. It was really fun and I even managed to hit a few clays.
