Big_Al here. I got to this site thru mossberg owners, which I got to from winchester owners, and since I own Remingtons as well - here I am.
 I'm a certified Old Geezer, having attained the age of 63; am a Vietnam vet; and my wife and I live on a small farm with our horses, chickens and dogs. Although I'm mostly attracted to WWII military weapons and guns of the old west, I have some more modern ones as well. As far as Remingtons they are an 870 Super Magnum Express 12 ga, a 7400 in 30-06, and a 1943 Remington-built model 1903A3.
