After noticing my rifle rattling, I discovered the 0-ring in the action tube was missing. So I'm getting ready to install a new one, but wondering...do I leave it dry, or do I apply a little grease around it? Not sure what to do. One guy said to grease it a little, another said to leave it dry. Thank you

Always apply a light (emphasis on "light") coat of silicone grease on an o-rings to prevent it from tearing as you insert it.
