Yeah, I have several friends farther south that set up traps. Thankfully, they haven't quite made it to here yet, but we have about as many problems from stupid black bears as you do with wild hogs.

They're both destructive and nuisance animals that should both be taken back out of the food chain.

We did very well here without them for about 100 years. Now suddenly, you can't even let your kids play outside in your own yard without being armed standing watch over them.

KY, though I am on the border of TN and VA and can be in either in just a few minutes. I live very near Cumberland Gap.

The closest that I know of wild hogs are in the Smokey Mountains, which is not really that far south of me.

Between everything else that we have (bears, big cats, coyotes) there won't be anything left but nuisance animals before too long.

Our grouse population has all but been decimated by the coyotes. And Deer and Turkey are also on the decline while everything else population is growing :(

Very nice!

I wanted one until I found that Magpul is a bunch of discriminating losers....................

Discriminating against lefties that is! Too bad no Magpul 700 hunter for me....

At least last time I checked there was no left-handed model available.

If only we could put your KY gun laws together with our BC hunting and conservation laws we'd have a virtual paradise John!! lol

Probably.

Even our conservation laws are stupid.

I'm a bigger conservationist than the state paid conservation employees.

Thanks guys, probably shot a couple dozen this season. I cut 3 on this hunt, 2 of which were about to plant about 20 more in the basin area I hunt.

New member. Have a 700 SPS. Reading through here and wanting to do a magazine conversion. Most are listed as for 700 BDL. What's the difference between that and an SPS? Recommendations?
