I just got a brand new RM380 which I purchased because of all the great reviews from everyone on the net talking about how great their gun is and how they have had no malfunctions... even with all kinds of ammo. Well along comes mine, which I am excited to get because I want a 380 that just works but...

Is it normal for the RM380 to not extract a live round forcefully when clearing the chamber? I mean the round just falls straight down where the magazine would be inserted.. it doesn't pull the round out and off to the side.. is this normal for this gun? It just drops the round down the magazine channel.

I took it shooting for the first time.. I wish I could say that it had no malfunctions.. but it had it failed twice out of 93 rounds.. a failure to extract a spent casing which ended up just sitting there on top of the next round in the magazine, impeding the slide from closing and chambering that next round. The other malfunction was a light primer strike.. it did fire after a second pull of the trigger. Normal or extractor issues?

I wish I could help you out, but in 500 RDS I have not had an issue.

You could help me out by letting me know if your live rounds are cleared by dropping out of the chamber by the extractor or forced out to side by extractor when unloading the RM380?
