I bought the RM380 because it was, relatively, easy to rack compared to the LCP, TCP and virtually all the other, affordable, pocket 380s.

My question is regarding the "Increased Rate Recoil Spring Set" that purports to reduce perceived felt recoil and is basically a heavier spring set. Does anyone have experience with this product?

I highly recommend the trigger springs but sadly have no experience with the recoil springs. Compared to the LCP and TCP I had the RM380 has much less recoil in my opinion my Glock 42 has less recoil but it is a bigger gun and hasn't been as reliable as the Remington.

I have the increased rate recoil springs in my RM380 and I can say that if they reduce recoil, it's not a huge difference that I noticed. Maybe if I'd done the replacement at the range instead of between range visits, it might have been more noticable. However, the rate increase does NOT make the RM380 slide difficult to rack. Thankfully there's hardly any difference there, is still very easy to rack the slide.

It's only a 20% increase in spring strength, according to Galloway's online catalog. I've got it on order.

I recently installed the Galloway Recoil Springs, Hammer, Firing Pin & Trigger Springs and so far they have worked well. The trigger is noticeably smoother and lighter and the Slide feels the same when racking.

Installation was relatively smooth with the only issue being I had to take both grip panels off and push the hammer spring retaining pin out. Of course I also dropped the hammer pin like the klutz I am so had to find that and reassemble the hammer set. And also popped out the slide stop and slide stop spring so got to replace that as well. Did I miss any pieces parts?

But Humpty Dumpty is actually back together again and all the king's horses and all the king's men were no help at all.
The next gun I buy will be the next to last gun I'll ever buy!

I installed the Galloway recoil spring, and the the RM380 is still ridiculously easy to rack. The recoil is just barely reduced, but I thought it was worthwhile anyway for an aluminum-framed gun...wear and tear worry me more than a comparable polymer gun.

Overall, the Galloway upgrades have made this a substantially better gun.

The spring set and other Galloway modifications all make the gun better. I just ordered the new trigger offering.

I’ve installed the trigger but not been to the range to test function.

The 20% improvement that Brandon talks about in the video makes a big difference - much improved.

The edges of the trigger are way too sharp. Ridiculously sharp. I rounded them off.

Will follow up after range test.
