I had originally loaded my RM380 with Underwood Extreme Defender in +P (which I use in my Beretta Pico), but after I ended up with some burring on my barrel/slide (nothing that ever caused a malfunction, just something I noticed after cleaning my pistol and finding that the action felt a bit "sticky" towards the rear...the problem was quickly diagnosed/rectified by my local gunsmith), I belatedly discovered that Beretta doesn't recommend +P ammo. Who knew?
So, I've mostly kept my Remington loaded with Hornady Critical Defense (it did great in the Lucky Gunner and Pocket Guns and Ammo gel tests, and the plastic nose supposedly helps with feeding).
But I like the idea of a barrier-blind round, and was considering going back to Underwood, but his time opting for the tamer standard .380 load.
What do you guys find to be a reliable option?
