Are the 572 BDL SB models considered collectables? I have one NIB with all tags and paperwork as came from factory. One NIB 572 BDL SB recently sold on GB for $1050.00. Were there just a small number of this model made? At that kind of price, I may sell it.

Not that I'm aware of...

What was the original cost of your NIB...!?

George c - I tried to buy one of these later production 572 SB BDL’swhen they first came out and they were almost instantly hard to find/get. At that time they retailed for $489, the price has continually gone up and I’ve been trying to find one ever since.

Anything from that era NIB with all paperwork is very collectible. I think fewer "SB"s were made than the normal rifles, but I'd have to confirm that data.
