I took my RM380 out to the range the other day...I grabbed it as an afterthought, as I was actually going to test out some new extended mags for my Glock 42. I figured that, since I was shooting .380 anyway, I might as well take out the Remington, too.
I didn't count the number of rounds I fired, but I'm sure I put at least 60 rounds downrange. The result?
Yawn.
Not a single malfunction, regardless of what ammo I threw at it. After the minor burring I got on my slide/barrel a few months ago, I'm staying away from the hotter ammo, even in limited quantities. So I primary stuck to Silver Tips, Black Hills XTP, and Hornady Critical Defense. All are pretty mild shooting, and the Remington loves all of them.
The most impressive thing was how darn smooth and light my trigger has become after all the firing/dry firing I've done. It's still quite a bit longer than I'd like, but it's light enough now that rapid firing can be down with both speed and accuracy.
I still wish this pistol had at least the option of night sights, but as it stands it's a very reliable pistol, perfect for pocket carry and short-distance SD scenarios.
She's a keeper, for sure.

I have 500 rounds thru my RM380 a mixture of hand loads and factory. Hasn't been cleaned yet other the initial cleaning when new. Not one hiccup at all. It is now in my EDC rotation.

They sound like a winner to me. Always been a fan of smaller pistols and snubbies . Sure with I could buy one in my state but not for now.
